3D Printing by 3D Steps (NEW)
Boys & Girls Ages 7-14At the “3d Printing – engineering and art by 3D Steps LLC” camp, students will learn how a 3D printer works, along with figuring out any quirks, which come with 3d printing. This will segway into them the knowledge of how to create their very own models using TinkerCAD and 3D print them. Classes will have many types of projects, each testing the student on different ideas for both modeling and additive manufacturing. Toward the end of the program, students will construct a 3D printer together, allowing them to understand the intricacies of the 3d printer operation and get better comprehension of how the printers function both mechanically and electronically. Overall the program allows kids to express their creativity and prepares them for the future when 3d printers will inevitably become widespread at work and at home. Every student will need a laptop computer for this camp.
